Praise Report!!
We are trying to buy a house, one that fits our large family and our budget. We have looked for 5 months and bid on four.

We love this one the most, and yet, had to bid low on it, as it was more than we could afford, but it is quirky, unique and the last owners painted it blue, making it the odd house of the neighborhood. But it's my hubby's fave color, and it fits us well.

So far, the owners have approved our bid!!! It's really a miracle!!!
Now, to the bank and hopefully, the FHA loan will go thru, and we will have the house God has chosen for us.

We are praising and thanking Him for this mega-miracle!!!

Praising Him anew!!!!

We went last night and had to go look at 'our' house....walked in the back yard, peeked in the windows, walked hand-in-hand down the street, checked out the neighbors...all good.

We were told to give the down payment now as to make the house 'contingent' so that other prospective buyers would not look at it. We did, and it still does not say that yet, so waiting...but I tell you all right now, if we end up IN this house, it is going to be totally God. Miracle after miracle.

That's great news, B. I just prayed for God's will in this situation.

You can't go wrong being in the center of His will, right?

Is there a pool? A mega sprinkler system? Where you are you need some relief from the heat.

You got that right, gf.

No, no pool. We had decided right off the bat that we would only look at homes w/o pools because the water rates are going sky-high along with everything else. That, and the fact we have two small children still, who love the water and would sneak out at any and every opportunity, fence or no fence. My 4 y.o. is a future rocket scientist; lol.

There are so many tots drowning accidentally in NV ea. summer.
It's so sad to watch the news anymore.
That, and dumb !@#$% people who leave their children out in the hot cars to die.

So, just a hose and maybe a slip and slide or something (*CM6 thinks of bumped heads and such...*)....*sigh* we'll see....

My kids love to slip and slide. Yes, there have been a few bruises here and there. Goes with the territory I guess.

The house just went listed online as "contingent" ya'll.....!!! Getting excited at what God is doing...now the bank's decision is crucial.
Realize we went into this only bidding what we can afford.
We are giving all glory to God on this!!

Unni, some prayer reports but I prefer to keep names private, although I'd like to praise the Lord for them:

1. A friend's husband rededicated his life to the Lord and as a result seems to be treating his family better and more honorable.
(They could use more prayer!!!)

2. A friend of mine who asked me to pray for her regarding fertility just informed me she is EXPECTING; praise God!!!! I am really excited for her!!!!

Looking forward to pictures of your new home - even though it's been 5 years now (right about now as a matter of fact) I still remember the stress of bidding on a house and waiting for everything to be finalized.
